The design for Dardano’s Shoes at FlatIron Crossing in Broomfield reflects the brand’s long-standing commitment to quality, comfort, and personalized customer experience. This location is strategically placed to serve customers from northern Denver and surrounding areas, providing a convenient and accessible destination for footwear and shoe repair services.
The store’s layout is crafted with functionality and aesthetics in mind, allowing for an easy and seamless shopping experience. Distinct sections are dedicated to various footwear categories, including casual, athletic, dress, and orthopedic shoes, all displayed with a clean, modern aesthetic that highlights both product and practicality. The spacious, open floor plan ensures comfortable navigation, with thoughtful placements of seating areas for personalized fittings and consultations.
The materials and finishes chosen for the store’s interior evoke a sense of warmth and comfort, mirroring the core values of the brand. Natural wood accents, soft lighting, and sleek, minimalist displays are combined to create a welcoming environment where customers can feel at ease while exploring Dardano’s diverse selection of shoes.
Additionally, the Broomfield store integrates specialized areas for key services such as custom orthotic fittings and on-site shoe repair, reinforcing Dardano’s mission of enhancing customer wellness through expert service. In the development of Dardano's Broomfield flagship store, I played a pivotal role in designing and implementing custom fixtures that seamlessly blend brand identity with store cohesion. I meticulously selected a manufacturing partner to produce displays that align with Dardano's aesthetic and functional requirements. Collaborating closely with over 50 brand partners, I coordinated the creation of specialized branded displays that maintain a consistent look and feel throughout the 8,000-square-foot retail space. This effort ensures a harmonious shopping environment that reflects Dardano's commitment to quality and customer experience.
Hero Wall
At the entrance of Dardano’s Broomfield flagship store, the hero wall stands as a striking focal point, designed to immediately captivate customers upon entry. I developed the concept from the ground up, beginning with a 3D rendering to showcase my vision. Through careful planning and execution, this idea transformed into a reality, creating an immersive and dynamic first impression.
The hero wall integrates electrical rails that illuminate monitors displaying custom graphics and promotional videos, ensuring a visually engaging experience. Additionally, the built-in shelving is enhanced with LED strip lighting, strategically highlighting featured products. This fusion of branding, technology, and design not only enhances the store’s atmosphere but also reinforces Dardano’s commitment to innovation and customer experience.
